Christmas Wreath Fundraiser
===* Please Support our MAIN Fundraiser of the Year *===
We are selling beautiful 24 inch double faced balsam wreaths with a bow for $20 each. Orders must be in by November 26 and can be turned in to Nancy Hoover’s office or mailbox. The wreaths will be delivered to the school. You may have your student pick up your order or you may pick up your wreath from 12:30 to 6:00 PM on December 3 in the large commons.
Print out the Wreath Sale Order Form now and get your order in before the rush.

Thank you to all of the help during the very successful Open House on Wednesday, Nov. 12th. We could not have done it without all of the wonderful pre-engineering parents and current students that provided food, helped set-up and/or cleaned up the library, served on parent/student panels, worked at the registration table or just talked to perspective parents and students about our amazing specialty center. Thank you again for your dedication and continued support to this organization and in turn to our children. A big THANK YOU to our hospitality chairman, Lois Rowland, for all of her hard work in coordinating, setting up and cleaning up the delicious spread of food and goodies that the perspective parents and their children were able to enjoy. We received many compliments on how "welcoming" the evening was.

New Building Addition Underway.
The construction fences are up and ground has been broken for the long-awaited addition to L. C. Bird High School. The construction is taking place on the Courthouse Road Side of the school. This new addition will house our specialty center classes and give us some much needed space. The scheduled completion date is January 2009. We look forward to watching it go up, brick by brick.
